As most of you are aware, CCMG is performing several different repair tasks simultaneously at VAT. Please review each category below for updates on the extent, scope and process of each repair category.

Screens: Hail damaged screens are being repaired. The crews are onsite, they have a list of approved screens that will be repaired. The windows that are getting replaced will come with a new screen so the crews out there now will not be replacing those. If you feel as though a screen, or several, were missed upon repair, please contact CCMG via email with your name, address and the location and number of screens. For now, we are only repairing screens that were identified as damaged by Travelers.

Trim/Siding: Carpenter crews are onsite now performing work on the damaged trim. We will be replacing areas of damaged trim with new, primed trim boards. These trim boards will be finished only to caulking and primed paint. Each duplex will be getting a full painting as soon as this work is finished, and the damaged windows are replaced. We understand the primed paint will not match your existing paint scheme; this will be corrected as soon as the paint crews come through.

Window Replacement: Windows damaged from the hailstorm have been ordered and we are expecting the first delivery within the next several weeks. When your windows are here and your unit is scheduled for the replacements, you will be contacted by the window crews to schedule a delivery/install date and time. It will be crucial that these appointments are made as we have nearly 120 units to work with. Coordination with owners will be crucial as interior work will need to be performed on each window being replaced.

General Precautions: Please take care to keep windows and doors closed when the carpenter crews are working on your residence. All work will be performed outside and keeping your house closed during the work will prevent any dust or contamination from coming inside.
